Lodging at Nelson’s Guides & Flies offers guests a comfortable place to stay while fishing some of Montana’s most iconic waters. Located on a working ranch in Paradise Valley, our lodge and cabins provide convenient access to guided fishing, private spring creek water, and the surrounding rivers and landscapes that define this area.


Lodging and spring creek access are coordinated separately and are available to guests fishing with Nelson’s Guides & Flies. This approach allows us to protect the quality of the experience while keeping access limited and thoughtfully managed.

Our lodge and cabins offer a relaxed and comfortable place to unwind after a day on the water. Set on a working ranch in Paradise Valley, the accommodations are designed with anglers in mind, providing a quiet setting, practical amenities, and easy access to guided fishing and private waters.

Whether you are staying in the lodge or one of the cabins, each space reflects the character of the ranch and the surrounding landscape. This is a place to rest, recharge, and enjoy time off the river in a setting that feels authentic and unhurried.

Spring Creek Access

Coordinated access for guided fishing guests

Lodging and private spring creek access are closely connected and thoughtfully managed to protect both the experience and the fishery. Spring creek access is available only to guests fishing with Nelson’s Guides & Flies and is coordinated in advance as part of a guided trip.


The spring creek flows through the ranch and is located a short walk from the lodge and cabins, offering a unique and convenient fishing opportunity in a carefully managed setting. Limiting access allows us to maintain low pressure on the water and provide a high quality experience for every guest.

Private spring creek access is limited to six anglers per day and must be planned in advance.

Planning a stay with Nelson’s Guides & Flies is designed to be straightforward and flexible. Lodging is coordinated in connection with guided fishing trips to ensure access, timing, and expectations are aligned before arrival.


While guided fishing typically runs from March through November, our team is available year round to answer questions, assist with trip planning, and coordinate future stays. Availability may vary based on season, access limits, and fishing conditions.
